I’m Dilara Özkan, a Kurdish-Turkish artist with a passion for the invisible threads between living things and places. A trained costume designer from the University of the Arts Berlin, I move fluidly between moving image productions, painting, sculpture and illustration — always seeking forms that explore the otherworld.

I am intrigued by natural findings like branches, feathers, and stones, as well as more intimate substances such as blood. These elements carry their own histories and energies, allowing me to explore contrasts between permanence and decay. Through this, I'd like to offer space for what often remains unseen — the quiet presence of the wonders that are invisible but bind us to each other.
